1. 我們為電影《光明》的成功放映感謝神！為王明旭弟兄和他的團隊感謝神！求主繼續大大使用他們榮神益人！為參與服事的每一位弟兄姊妹感謝神！
   We thank God for the successful event of the movie "Sight"! Thank God for Brother Ming Wang and his team! May the Lord continue to use them greatly to glorify God and benefit people! We also thank God for all the brothers and sisters who served.
2. 好消息！電影《光明》將於5/24在全美各地上映，大家可以在angel.com/sight預購電影票。十張以上團購可以享受五折優惠。
   Good news! The movie "Sight" will be released in theaters across the United States on May 24. You can pre-purchase movie tickets at angel.com/sight. Group tickets with 10 or more will have 50% off.
3. 教會聯合禱告 Church Chinese and English Combined Prayer Meeting

   • 主題 Theme：在主內恢復更新 Restoration in the Lord
4. 貝城華人基督教會皮克球比賽 CCCBR Pickleball Tournament
   • 時間 When：5/18 禮拜六（Saturday） @ 4:00 PM
   • 地點 Where: BR Nazarene Gymnasium (across the street) （對面教會）

5. 5/26 會友大會 – 英文牧師續聘投票
   5/26 – General Congregation Meeting to Vote on the Terms of Extension for the English Pastor
   • 英文牧師目前的任期：12/1/2021 – 11/30/2024。
     English pastor current term: 12/1/2021 – 11/30/2024
   • 續聘委員會4月29日以6:1多數贊成提交執事會建議續聘。
     On 4/29, the English pastor renewal committee voted 6-1 to send a recommendation to the Board of Deacons to renew Pastor Heath’s contract.
   • 長執會5月5日會議認為Heath牧師在目前任期內，較好地完成了講壇布道，能夠組織領導英文堂事工，努力帶領信徒屬靈生命成長，開始組織會眾聚會（比如弟兄早餐禱告會、青少年聚會等），但在關懷探訪信徒上需要加強，信徒培訓和社區關懷亦有待加強, 長執會未能達到全體一致但超過三分之一長執會成員同意續聘。
     The Elder and Board of Deacons met on 5/5 to evaluate Pastor Heath’s work: Pastor Heath has done a good job in preaching and has made efforts to lead people towards spiritual growth. He started a Men’s Prayer Breakfast which the congregation seemed to really enjoy. He also organized the youth to attend the DNOW conference. However, more efforts could be made in regards to visitation/caring. Currently there are no regularly scheduled youth nights as well as no inter-racial marriage activities. Need more work on discipleship training and community outreach. The Elder and Board of Deacons couldn’t reach unanimous approval but more than one third of the Board members agreed to the term extension.
   • 根據教會章程，長執會決定提交會友大會投票決定英文牧師的續聘。According to the church Constitution Bylaw, The Elder and Board of Deacons decided to call a General Congregation Meeting to vote on the terms of extension on May 26, 2024.”
